Luchon offers trail runners 12 signposted routes, adapted to different levels of difficulty, enabling them to explore spectacular mountain scenery with more than 10 peaks over 3000 meters. As a trail resort, Luchon offers some twenty routes, including a vertical kilometer and oxygenation loops. The Luchon Aneto Trail, a major event held in early July, attracts over 2,500 runners with distances ranging from 10 to 85 km, and also offers races for children. The routes enable participants to discover emblematic sites such as the Hospice de France and Lac d'Oô, while training in an unspoilt natural environment. In addition to mountain biking, the region is also popular with road cyclists, who can tackle some of the legendary cols of the Tour de France. PARAGLIDER / GLIDER / PLANE

For those who dream of soaring or flying like birds, the Luchon aerodrome (located near Lac de Badech) offers you the opportunity to discover the Earth from another point of view! The view is breathtaking over the Pyrenees and Bagnères de Luchon. Paragliding : Offering spectacular views of the Pyrenees and the Bagnères de Luchon valley, flights can be adapted to suit all levels and weights. Take-offs are from the Superbagnères ski resort, and participants can even fly under supervision. Glider flight: Accompanied by a certified pilot, participants discover updrafts and the principles of flight. Flights are adapted to weather conditions. Tourist Plane Flight: This activity lets you fly over emblematic sites such as Lac d'Oô and the Superbagnères ski resort, while learning piloting techniques.

TENNIS / GOLF / HORSE RIDING

Tennis in Luchon, an exceptional experience, located at the Complexe de la Réserve de la Pique, which offers a magnificent setting in the Occitanie region. Tennis activities are available all year round, thanks to an inflatable structure in winter. From spring onwards, players can enjoy 4 clay courts and 4 concrete courts. The infrastructure includes floodlit courts suitable for all levels of play. Visitors are invited to reserve their court to experience

Golf de Luchon, founded in 1908, is a historic course set in an exceptional natural environment, offering an unforgettable experience for golfers of all levels. The flat, demanding 9-hole course features small greens and strategically placed bunkers, guaranteeing a stimulating challenge. Facilities include a friendly clubhouse, driving range and putting green, all designed for the comfort of golfers. To play, a
license from the French Golf Federation and a green card are required, with the option of taking out an annual membership or purchasing fairy greens. The golf course offers lessons for beginners and advanced players, as well as competitions from May to September. Accessible to all, the driving range is ideal for beginners. Golf de Luchon promises magical moments in the heart of the Pyrenees.

The Centre Equestre de Luchon is a haven for horse enthusiasts, welcoming beginners and experienced riders all year round. It offers a wide range of activities, from initiation to competition, with individual and group lessons. Services include boarding and working horses for owners, as well as various disciplines such as dressage, show jumping and voltige. Themed courses are organized during the vacations, and events enliven the center throughout the year. Certified as a French Riding School (École Française d'Équitation) and a Cheval Club de France (Cheval Club de France), the
center provides an environment conducive to learning and discovering horse riding. Everyone can find an activity to suit his or her level and desires, whether in the riding arena or out in the countryside.

WHITEWATER SPORTS, RAFTING, CANYONING, FISHING...

The Pyrenees are ideal for whitewater sports, with activities
such as rafting, hydrospeed and canoraft on rivers suitable for
all ages, including the Garonne. H2O Vives in Bagnères-de-Luchon
offers a variety of aquatic experiences. Rafting itineraries range from fun runs to technical descents such as the Pallaressa. For canyoning, there are family options at the Arlos canyon and more technical routes for teenagers and adults. The area is also popular with anglers, offering numerous rivers, notably the Pique and Lis, with sections suitable for trout fishing. Water activities and fishing in the natural landscapes of the Pyrenees promise enriching and emotionally-charged experiences.
