Luchon offers trail runners 12 marked trails, adapted to different levels of difficulty, allowing them to explore spectacular mountain landscapes with more than 10 peaks over 3,000 meters high. As a trail running resort, Luchon offers around 20 trails, including a vertical kilometer and oxygenation loops. The Luchon Aneto Trail, a major event held in early July, attracts more than 2,500 runners with distances ranging from 10 to 85 km, and also offers races for children. The trails allow participants to discover iconic sites such as the Hospice de France and Lake Oô, while training in a preserved natural environment. Visitors can explore a variety of trails, ranging from family-friendly paths to technical trails for experienced mountain bikers, with a total of 269 kilometers of marked trails. Visitors can also take advantage of the Luchon Superbagnères cable car to access spectacular descents. In addition to mountain biking, the region is popular with road cyclists, who can tackle legendary Tour de France passes. PARAGLIDING / GLIDER / AIRPLANE

For those who dream of gliding or flying like birds, Luchon Aerodrome (located near Lake Badech) offers you the opportunity to discover the Earth from a different perspective! The view of the Pyrenees and Bagnères de Luchon is breathtaking. Paragliding: Offering spectacular views of the Pyrenees and the Bagnères de Luchon valley, flights can be adapted to all levels and weights. Takeoffs are from the Superbagnères ski resort, and participants can even fly under supervision. Glider flight: Accompanied by a certified pilot, participants discover updrafts and the principles of flight. Flights are adapted to weather conditions. Tourist plane flight: This activity allows you to fly over iconic sites such as Lake Oô and the Superbagnères ski resort, while learning piloting techniques.

TENNIS / GOLF / HORSEBACK RIDING

Tennis in Luchon is an exceptional experience, located at the Complexe de la Réserve de la Pique, which offers a magnificent setting in Occitanie. Tennis activities are available all year round thanks to an inflatable structure in winter. From spring onwards, players can enjoy four clay courts and four concrete courts. The Luchon Golf Course , founded in 1908, is a historic course located in an exceptional natural setting, offering an unforgettable experience for golfers of all levels. The flat and demanding 9-hole course features small greens and strategically placed bunkers, ensuring a stimulating challenge. Facilities include a welcoming clubhouse, a driving range, and a putting green, all designed for the comfort of golfers. To play, you must have a license from the French Golf Federation (
) and a green card, with the option of taking out an annual membership or purchasing green fees. The golf course offers lessons for beginners and experienced players, as well as competitions from May to September. Accessible to all, the driving range allows novices to learn the basics of golf. The Luchon Golf Course promises magical moments in the heart of the Pyrenees.

The Luchon Equestrian Center is a haven for horse lovers, welcoming beginners and experienced riders throughout the year. It offers a wide range of activities, from introductory lessons to competition training, with individual and group lessons available. Services include boarding and training for horse owners, as well as various disciplines such as dressage, show jumping, and vaulting. Themed courses are organized during the holidays, and events are held at the center throughout the year. Certified by the École Française d'Équitation (French Riding School) and the Cheval Club de France (French Horse Club), the
center provides an environment conducive to learning and discovering horse riding. Everyone can find an activity suited to their level and desires, whether in the riding arena or in the great outdoors.

WATER SPORTS, RAFTING, CANYONING, FISHING...

The Pyrenees are ideal for whitewater sports, with activities
such as rafting, hydrospeed, and canorafting on rivers suitable for
all ages, particularly the Garonne. H2O Vives in Bagnères-de-Luchon
offers a variety of aquatic experiences. For rafting, routes range from fun courses to technical descents such as the Pallaressa. For canyoning, family-friendly options are available at the Arlos canyon, as well as more technical courses for teenagers and adults. The region is also popular with fishermen, offering numerous rivers, including the Pique and the Lis, with sections suitable for trout fishing.
